Station Imports is a fine wine importer bringing superior wines from the boutique vineyards of New Zealand into the United States.
In New Zealand a Station is a large property, often thousands of square kilometers in size whose main activity is the raising of sheep. Most of New Zealand’s finest vineyards were started on the least productive areas of these large Stations in regions that were thought to be good for growing grapes not lambs. Station Imports takes it name to honor New Zealand high country Stations and their efforts to adapt their land to the production of fine wine.
The Loving family adopted New Zealand as their second home in 1998 and since then have fully invested in the country and the life style. Wine being one of the things they enjoyed about New Zealand, they have dedicated themselves to bringing the best wines New Zealand has to offer to the United States. We started by importing Central Otago Pinot Noirs and have since widened our scope to bringing into the USA classic Sauvignon Blancs from Marlborough and the delectable Syrah of Hawkes Bay.
Our portfolio of wines includes the oldest vineyard in New Zealand as well as one of the newest. We are now working with ten wine varietals from three wine growing regions from five different vineyards. All of our vineyards are certified sustainable, one is certified organic and two are biodynamic. It’s exciting times in the wine industry but what is most important is that Station Imports knows New Zealand wine and we are having a good time bringing that wine to you.

Andy and Penny Loving previously had a design build company in Taos New Mexico. In 1997, between design jobs they decided to take the family to New Zealand for a well earned holiday.
While visiting the South Island they decided to make New Zealand a permanent part of their lives and now spend a portion of the year living in Central Otago.
When they are not in New Zealand they spend a majority of their time in the States, often telling the story of far away New Zealand and the great wines that may be found in some of the most beautiful vineyards in the world.
Born and raised in small town Massachusetts, Jennifer graduated from American University with a degree in criminal justice and psychology (perfect for the wine business).
After graduation, she relocated to The Big Easy... New Orleans, where she was smitten by the culture of fine food and beverage, certainly the closest thing in the States to a European groove.
The wine bug bit her in a big way as she began her lasting career as a Regional Sales Manager for the esteemed producer Champagne Duval-Leroy. Then, disaster, in the form of Hurricane Katrina hit the Crescent City and it was off to the mile high city of Denver, Colorado to dry off and try her hand at the marketing of high quality South American wines.
After spending 2 years with that venture, Jennifer decided to move on to explore the world of New Zealand wines, and work with Station Imports. She currently lives in the little hippy town of Manitou Springs, CO with her wine-geeky husband and his cat, Jimi.
