Born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, Janet’s background was in the administrative field for corporate America. One of her many interests was getting away from the big city on weekend trips to East Coast vineyards where she hiked, picnicked and tasted various local wines.
In 2002, she and her husband Tony, along with 2 cats, moved to Colorado Springs in hopes of a better, less stressful life in a smaller town. She soon met her neighbors who import fine wines from Central Otago, New Zealand which reenergized her passion for wine. She started spreading the word to friends and family about these amazing wines and the rest is history. She handles the wine orders, state licensing requirements and other important tasks in the Station Imports office.
Janet and husband now share life with their furry companions, Baxter and Cody. Life is good! And so are NZ wines!!
